Win Tickets to Naked Sushi!

Matt Mytro from Stove Monkeys and Crisp Catering is known for thinking out of the box. I had the pleasure of attending one of his Yumm events last year, with culinary creations using gastronomy and pure playfulness. Well he has a new series, called Naked Sushi...and it's pretty literal.Guests are offered the chance to dine on delicious sushi from Dante of Restaurant Dante and (the soon to be open) Ginko featured on "unique landscape". This "landscape" is beautifully painted models, who just happen to be naked. This ancient Japanese tradition has come to Cleveland, and now it's your turn to check it out.

The next event is taking place on Thursday, May 26th from 7:30-11PM at Liquid and Suite Sixx on West 6th Street in downtown Cleveland. The event will also offer Asian-inspired snacks and signature cocktails. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door, but one lucky reader will get to win a pair of tickets and attend for free!

    I just tried the Rock & Roll (i think) at Pacific East and loved it! Spicy tuna or tempura rolls are my defaults though.

    My favorite roll is the Xmas roll from Pacific East. Tuna and avocado with tabiko eggs on the outside.

    anything new!

    whenever I try a new (to me) sushi, it's my absolute favorite until the next sushi event.


    --but I will admit... i'm in no hurry to try eel.

    I just tried the Guatemalan roll @ Shinto and loved it- my new fave! It had jalapenos in it :)

    This is probably so not traditional sushi but I like tempura rolls and crab salad rolls!
