The 2013 Chefs Unbridled event, presented by The Jim Thome Family, is a tasting dinner event benefiting the Fieldstone Farm Therapeutic Riding Center.
About Fieldstone Farm Therapeutic Riding Center
Fieldstone Farm Therapeutic Riding Center (located in Bainbridge) is one of the largest therapeutic riding centers in the country, serving 700 students annually (from preschoolers to veterans). Through a special partnership with horses, Fieldstone offers programs designed by professionals to foster personal growth and individual achievement for people with disabilities.
Chefs Unbridled is their annual fundraiser, and guests can enjoy food from some fantastic participating chefs, live music, carriage rides throughout the Gates Mills Village, as well as new event features like on-site food trucks serving cupcakes and microbrews.
Tickets start at $125 per person ($75 tax-deductible). To order tickets, contact Maureen Foster at (440) 708-0013, ext. 123 or mfoster@fieldstonefarmtrc.com. RSVP date for tickets is August 20.
The chef lineup is quite impressive, featuring food from:
- Chris Hodgson of HODGES
- Jeff Jarrett of AMP 150
- Melissa Khoury of Washington Place Bistro & Inn
- Scott Kuhn, Restaurateur/Chef of Driftwood Restaurant Group
- Paul Minnillo of Flour
- Matt Mytro of Flour
- Jonathon Sawyer of The Greenhouse Tavern and Noodlecat
Date: Saturday, September 7, 2013
Time: 6:30 – 9:30 pm – cocktails and tasting dinner
Place: Chagrin Valley Hunt Club Polo Field (7620 Old Mill Road, Gates Mills, OH 44040)
One lucky reader will win two tickets to this event! Just leave me a comment on this blog post for entry, telling me which of the participating chefs you'd sample first. This list makes it hard to choose, I know. Personally, I'd head straight to AMP 150's table. Chef Jeff is always cooking up something great at tasting events. I will select a winner, using random.org, on Monday, August 19th.
Good luck.
Disclosure: I was provided with two media passes for myself, and two tickets to give away to a reader in exchange for this post. All images were provided by Fieldstone Farm Therapeutic Riding Center. All opinions stated are 100% my own. I only accept partnerships with local charities that I believe in.

Hey YOU! I'd love to attend this event. The polo fields are one of CLEVE's best places to enjoy the park system...add food & drink. Perfection!
I'm with you - love Jeff Jarret's creativity. I'd love to win tickets to this event!
I agree with you...heading to AMP 150 is a must. I really enjoy his restaurant and BONUS, it is close to my house.
Picking from that list is like asking which is better, bacon or pork belly. I guess I'll pick Matt Mytro simply because I don't get over to the eastside often enough and I love his cooking.
My first stop would be Jeff Jarrett of AMP 150. Love the unique food I get to try there!
I'd have to say I'd go straight for Chef Jeff Jarrett, as well. Fingers are crossed for this event!
This sounds like an awesome event, I would love to try Chef Sawyer's food!
This would be a lot of fun to attend; I would pick something from Chris Hodgson to sample first......
I'd head first to Chris Hodgson and get some tasty treats.
My husband and I would split up to get 2 things at once: I'd try what Jeff Jarrett is cooking up, and he'd go to check out Chris Hodgson's food. Great event!
I would be torn between Amp 150 and Hodge's. Probably going with Amp 150, but it is a close call!
Jeff Jarrett of AMP 150
It's a toss up between Sawyer and Hodgson!
I love everything Chef Hodgson does, but I am really interested to see what Chef Jarrett cooks up. Fieldstone Farm does such wonderful work and this is a great event!
I love everything Chef Hodgson does, but I'm really interested in trying what Chef Jarrett cooks up! Chefs Unbridled is such a great event and for a good cause. Fieldstone Farm does such wonderful things!
I'd like to try food from the guys at Flour, since I don't make it out that way very often, and the one time I was there it was great! Great pairing of classic fine dining experience + new energetic creativity
I’ve been lucky enough to try all the chefs except Paul and Matt of Flour – so they would be the ones I want to try out first. Also - this event is on my BIRTHDAY...so now I have to win :)
Jonathan Sawyer does comfort food in the most amazing way, I'd love to see what he comes up with.
I'd love to check out Matt Mytro because I haven't made it to Flour yet. Yum!
What a line up!!!! I would try Melissa Khoury's food first. It sounds like an awesome event!
I would go see Sawyer first!
