Mid-Year Check-in

With it finally hitting me today, on the first of July, that summer is really HERE- I thought that it was time to take a look at my 2011 New Year's Resolution list of restaurants that I wanted to try to see how I am doing...

Here was the list:
1. Dante (not done, but a $100 gift certificate was a birthday present and we're headed there in July to celebrate our anniversary)
2. Chinato --- DONE
3. Blue Canyon Kitchen & Tavern --- DONE
4. Umami Asian Kitchen --- DONE
5. Tinkers Creek Road Tavern
6. Washington Place Bistro & Inn --- DONE
7. Deagan's Kitchen & Bar --- DONE
8. Palate Restaurant & Lounge --- DONE
9. Happy Dog --- DONE
10. Reader's Choice...Lolita --- DONE

Um, wow. I knew I was doing well, but I haven't looked at the list in forever and I didn't realize that I am almost DONE. I think not completing my 2010 list really bothered me, so I was determined to tackle 2011. Now what will I do with myself until January?

Happy Holiday Weekend, everyone! Any fun dining plans? Cookouts? I'm just looking forward to actually being in the U.S.A. for the 4th of July because we are usually gone on an annual trip to "R's" lake cottage in Canada. So bring on the BBQ, beers, friends, and fireworks!

CLEgal took the words out of my mouth. And YES you will LOVE Dante - Hans and I went there for our anniversary last year. It was easily in the top five meals that I've ever had. Enjoy!

Thanks for the comments, ladies! I'm looking forward to Dante. We've had plans several times, but life keeps getting in the way. But I had no idea that I was this close to finishing my goal. :)

That's amazing! Can't believe the year is half over either. Relaxing, hitting the pool and fireworks/picnicing are in store for my 4th. Have a great weekend!
